Pat Polson is Senior Vice President and Mortgage Division Sales Manager for Truist Financial Corporation. He oversees the retail mortgage origination team for North Carolina and Virginia.

Since being named to this position in December, 2019, Pat has successfully led and integrated heritage originations sales teammates that produced over $2 Billion in 2022. Prior to the Truist merger, he held a similar position at SunTrust Bank since 2012. With more than 26 years of banking experience, he previously served as a retail banking manager, top performing mortgage loan originator, and peer sales coach.

Passionate about the mortgage industry and helping clients achieve home ownership, Pat served as the President of the Mortgage Banker's Association of the Carolinas from 2015-2016.

Pat earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was also named one of the Top 40 Under 40 Business People in the Triangle in 2012. When he isn't working, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife of 23 years and two children, traveling, and competing on the golf course.
