Nick
Tosti
Principal
The Cordillera Group
Nick Tosti has spent his career refining what it means to build with intention – combining technical precision, community perspective, and business discipline to create enduring places across the Puget Sound. With more than 15 years of experience in construction and development management, his work reflects a balance of practical expertise, entrepreneurial leadership, and genuine connection to the communities he helps shape.
As President and Principal of The Cordillera Group, Nick oversees business operations, planning, and organizational structure. He focuses on creating systems that guide projects from concept to completion efficiently and responsibly – ensuring quality, financial discipline, and long-term value. He leads with a pragmatic approach, one that values collaboration, clarity, and doing things the right way.
Nick’s experience spans complex urban infill developments and community-scale projects, supported by early work as an owner’s representative for residential and industrial projects. Shortly after completing his degree at the University of Washington, Nick co-founded Construction for Change (CfC) – a nonprofit built on the belief that access to quality buildings improves access to opportunity. Under his leadership as executive director and later chairman of the board, CfC evolved from a volunteer-run startup completing one project a year into a full-time organization managing multiple global initiatives. During that time, the nonprofit raised and deployed more than $1 million to fund and execute schools, medical facilities, and vocational training centers across East Asia, Africa, and South America.
A graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in Construction Management, Nick approaches each project as a long-term investment in the region he calls home – one that reflects thoughtful planning, responsible growth, and deep respect for the Northwest’s natural and built environments. Based in Kirkland with his wife and two children, he remains focused on delivering work that enhances everyday living and makes a lasting contribution to the communities it serves.
