April Whitaker is a native of Austin, Texas, with nearly 27 years of experience in the homebuilding industry throughout the Central Texas market. She currently serves as the Regional President for Taylor Morrison Austin and Dallas, one of the region’s leading homebuilders and land developers, serving a diverse range of buyers including first-time, move-up, luxury, and 55+ active adult homeowners.

April has held several key leadership roles over the course of her career, including Division President, Vice President of Operations at Taylor Morrison, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CalAtlantic, Meritage, and Taylor Morrison. Her expertise spans all product types and price ranges, and she has successfully led land acquisition, land development, and homebuilding efforts in many of Austin’s most prominent master-planned communities.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University and is widely recognized for her strategic insight, deep market knowledge, and commitment to excellence in residential development.
