Alex leads the Nicola Real Estate team in Vancouver with strategic oversight and exemplary leadership. As the Managing Director, Alex ensures the team’s success by integrating his deep industry knowledge and transactional expertise into every facet of their operations.

With a keen eye for value creation opportunities, he is driven to find attractive investments and manages the execution of value-add strategies. Over his career, Alex has participated in over $8.0 Billion of real estate transactions across North America.

Prior to joining Nicola Wealth, Alex worked in commercial real estate brokerage and as an appraiser at two leading international commercial real estate firms. He brings a wealth of valuation experience across all asset classes and has completed assignments for institutional investors, pension funds, REITs and private investors.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, specializing in Finance and Real Estate, from UBC’s Sauder School of Business. He also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation.

Alex and his family live on Vancouver’s North Shore. He used to run only when chased, but now actually enjoys running. This allows him to safely pursue his many other culinary passions. As a North Shore resident, you might find him on the Grouse Grind, snowshoeing on Mount Seymour or kayaking in Deep Cove, but you certainly won’t catch him on a golf course.

Alex currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lions Gate Hospital Foundation and also chairs the Investment Committee.
